We are one of the world's largest and most comprehensive dealers in
vintage watches and their accessories. Chosen by Forbes magazine as a
"Best of the Web" honoree consecutively since 2000, we are known
for our exacting standards and our commitment to our clients.
In addition to being honored by Forbes magazine, we've been written about,
interviewed by and referenced by newspapers and fashion magazines around
the world. We've helped nervous brides choose gifts for their wedding
party or helped one spouse choose a thoughtful gift for another; provided
museums with correct examples of period pieces; assisted set designers
and wardrobe managers with requests for watches for movie productions.
Movies including "Ray," "Memoirs of a Geisha," "A
Night at the Museum" and "The Half-Life of Timofey Berezin"
have either received our services or timepieces.
We carry a wide range of correctly cleaned, oiled and calibrated vintage
wrist and pocket watches - many of them new-old-stock - fresh from the
recesses of a jeweler's vault and never before offered to the public.
We specialize in these, as well as restored military timepieces, fancy
enameled examples, ladies cocktail watches and examples of Deco and Art
Nouveau wrist-art. Also, we're the world's largest dealer in vintage watch
straps, bands and buckles.
We offer a wide selection of fine Swiss timepieces as well as rare and
famous models by American watch houses. Take a moment to admire our inventory
and you'll find breathtaking works by Hamilton, Elgin, Bulova, Gruen,
Waltham and Illinois watch companies as well as creations by lesser known
- but equally capable - manufacturers. During the first half of the 20th
Century, American watch houses produced magnificent timepieces, both in
form and function. We're proud document these accomplishments and to bring
examples of these works to our clients.
Often it is more illuminating to prospective clients to learn what we
don't do. We do not send emails to our clients offering watches for sale:
Our clients come to us when they wish.
We do not discuss who our clients are, what they buy from or sell to
us, or otherwise divulge their business to anyone else. Whether you are
buying from or selling to us, you are assured the utmost discretion.
We offer timepieces that have been professionally cleaned, oiled and
calibrated. If you see it on our site, it has been serviced, timed and
is ready to be shipped.
We do not impose our taste or views on our clients. Those who deal with
us have exquisite taste and know what they want. Our job is to accommodate
them.
We do not abandon those who purchase from us. Once you are a client,
you are always a client. Nor are we rude to those who contact us or seek
to do business with us. We hear too many stories of rude dealers and have
yet to figure out how these dealers stay in business.
May you have a wonderful time exploring what we have to offer and may
we have the privilege of welcoming you as a client!
