Cocktail watches are the DARLINGS of the Deco era: Every black glove clad, taffeta wearing, tiara sporting, delicate, Audrey Hepburnesque goddess had one dangling from her little wrist. We are absolutely thrilled to offer this utterly magnificent ladies "flip-top" cocktail watch in solid platinum, set with a galaxy of diamonds and emeralds! Displaying some of the finest design work we've seen, this remarkable achievement is inset with more than a 100 diamonds in a variety of cuts, totalling approx. 2 1/2 carats; as well as two high-grade, square-cut emeralds totalling approximately a carat. Measuring a staggering 84mm long (!) it is a crowning work of the golden era of watchmaking, displaying workmanship that is all but lost today. We invite you to take a few moments to notice the design elements of this piece, from its lace filigree "flip-top" inset with diamonds, to its spray of baguette diamonds fanning out on either side of its elongated body.
